About me

Hi there! My name is Chris Lessenich and I am a watercolour artist. I have been painting with watercolours for over 5 years, and I am passionate about creating beautiful, vibrant works of art using this versatile medium. I have been creating art for as long as I can remember, and I am passionate about expressing myself and sharing my ideas and emotions through my work.

I was first introduced to watercolour painting when I was a child, and I fell in love with the unique, transparent quality of the paint and the way it can be layered and blended to create delicate, ethereal effects. Over the years, I have developed my own unique style, combining loose, flowing brushstrokes with careful attention to detail and vibrant, saturated colours. I am constantly experimenting and pushing the boundaries of my medium to create unique and innovative pieces.

I draw my inspiration from a wide range of sources, including nature, architecture, and everyday life. I enjoy exploring the way light and shadow interact with different subjects, and I am always looking for new ways to capture the beauty and complexity of the world around me.I am particularly interested in depicting the human figure and portrait, and I enjoy exploring the ways in which light, shadow, and color can bring these subjects to life.

In addition to creating my own artwork, I also teach watercolour painting classes to students of all ages and abilities. I love sharing my passion for this medium with others, and helping them to discover their own artistic potential.

I have been fortunate to exhibit my work in several galleries and exhibitions, and I have had the opportunity to share my art with a wide audience. I am also involved in a number of local art communities and organizations, and I enjoy collaborating with other artists and participating in group shows and events.

Thank you for visiting my website and taking the time to learn more about me and my work. I hope you enjoy exploring my portfolio and that my paintings bring you as much joy and inspiration as they do for me.
